Israel: Hi-Tech Visa for 1 year for Non-Wavered
Nationals
As of today, Israeli Hi-Tech companies
will be able to submit an application for non-visa waivered nationals (for
example nationals of India and China) under the short B-1 visa process for
Hi-Tech Companies (HIT 365).
Until this recent change, the B-1
Hi-Tech visa (HIT 365) could only be submitted for visa waivered nationals
only. This will allow a short work permit process of up to 10 workdays,
followed by consular processing at the Israeli consulate in the foreign
national home country.
This significant change was campaigned by
Kan-Tor & Acco with senior officials at the Ministry of Interior.
